As a contributor you retain ownership of the copyright in your contribution and
have the same rights to use or license the contribution which you would have had without
committing it to the EXIP project.
Note however, that all contributions (source code and documentation) are also licensed under the
above licenses (BSD and CC) when releasing the source code.
When submitting a patch or acquiring write access to the SVN you must acknowledge that you
agree with the Developer's Certificate of Origin
used by the Linux kernel project and copied here for your convenience:

By making a contribution to this project, I certify that:
(a) The contribution was created in whole or in part by me and I
have the right to submit it under the open source license
indicated in the file; or
